I profess that every nonprofit can operate as efficiently as a franchise-style business.   I credit the authors of E-Myth Revisited, Traction and Good to Great for promoting a focus on the mission and everything derives or supports the organization's purpose.  

I support systems; that can be divided into six manuals for sustainability, transition and training:

  • Leadership Board Book
  • Policies (the wisdom or prior boards)
  • Business Continuity-Crisis Management
  • Communications - Style Guide
  • HR Manual (personnel)
  • Procedures (standard operating procedures)
