When I first heard about this tool, I thought, "No. Please. Not another recommendations engine that ‘brings value to our customers.’" (You know the type. Same pitch, different logo.)
But the more I dug in, the more I got excited. This thing actually might move the needle.
Sure, it’s still in beta, but even now, it does what plenty of other FinOps tools can’t. And no—it’s not trying to replace them. Instead, it integrates with them. Pull cost recommendations from your CSP? Yup. From your existing FinOps tool? Also. Then automate whatever you want.
What is this tool? It’s a no-code workflow designer—with code steps if you need them. So, go nuts:
And yeah, it’s open-source, but there’s a pricing list? Yup. Some features are paid, but if you’re using this to pre-aggregate reporting data, your S3-Athena-QuickSight dashboards just got way faster and cheaper. In many cases, it pays for itself.
Link in the first comment. Because, apparently, that’s what we do now to appease the algorithm gods.
