Job Overview

This job opening is for a Test engineer joining the EcoPlant Engineering team as part of the IR Digital organization.

The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting both manual and automated tests on IoT devices, ensuring quality and integration within broader IoT systems of EcoPlant and IR Compressor Business.?

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute both manual and automated test cases.
• Collaborate with the IoT R&D team to understand system requirements.
• Perform system integration tests including software components from other teams.
• Identify, log and track defects.
• Analyze test results and communicate risks to relevant teams.
• Develop IoT testing strategies, including environment setup and test case creation.
• Recommend improvements in testing processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience as a QA tester in an IoT/Embedded environment.
• Experience with both white box and black box testing, and automated testing tools.
• Knowledge of bash/python scripting.
• Strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
• Ability to troubleshoot errors and manage multiple tasks.
• Awareness of the latest trends in IoT, including security and standards.
