Opening ourselves from the inside out

Have you noticed what causes your inner being to rise to the surface?

Like the new growth around the valley, it isn’t the same for everyone.

Yet we don’t realise this unless we pay attention and recognise that each of us has something distinctive and beautiful to share.

This lovely violet opening in the sun's warmth demonstrates this so well. Yet I only see them opened fully in the afternoon alpaca rounds, rarely in the early mornings.

Pause. See differently. Re-story ??

~ I am re-engaging with the Enneagram as part of my inner exploration. And it is fascinating.

Last night, I was watching our pup play her favorite warm weather game which involves creating a racket with a metal water bowl in our yard and I felt a true delight bubble up from deep inside of me, as it does everytime I witness this game. Yesterday, though, I paused to really notice it and to remind myself: This. This is what I need to remember to engage with - with the pup but especially within myself - when life's hardships threaten to overwhelm. ?

There’s a good reason for this. We need two ears to listen well.
