On September 4, 2024, we proudly celebrated the grand opening of our new hub in ?ód?, marking a significant milestone in our ongoing expansion and commitment to fostering local talent. The event, held at LOFTMILL Stara Drukarnia, welcomed distinguished guests, partners, and community leaders, all eager to witness the start of this exciting chapter.
A Warm Welcome to Sterling Outsourcing
Adam Pustelnik , Deputy Mayor of the City of ?ód?, started the event with an inspiring speech on the importance of creating high-quality job opportunities within an international environment. He emphasized the city's vision of attracting global talent and fostering a diverse, thriving community.
This is something that will shape our future—whether we can attract talents, and whether we can draw more people not only from within the country but perhaps even from the farthest corners of the world to build our human economy, live here, and start their families.
Introducing Our New Leadership
Gavin Fisher MCICM , our Credit & Collections Director on behalf of Romek Lubaczewski (PL), former PwC Partner, introduced Harry Virdee BEM as the new CEO of Sterling Outsourcing, highlighting Sterling's 18-year history and global footprint. Harry's appointment marks a new era of strategic growth and innovation for Sterling, and we are thrilled to have him at the helm.
After the introduction, Harry Virdee shared insights into Sterling’s history, with over 400 clients, supported by a global team of around 2,000 people, and outstanding retention rates of both clients and employees. He emphasized Sterling's commitment to maintaining a strong presence in Poland due to the country’s excellent work ethic, strong talent pool, language proficiency, and EU compliance. He also highlighted his happiness of becoming a Sterling's new leader and verbalized his pride of the team.

The detailed company's expansion plans in ?ód? was described by Adam Whitmarsh , Director of Customer Experience. His speech included the news about relocation of 100 employees to the new hub within the last month and further growth oportunities. With a focus on multilingual customer service, Sterling aims to employ 500 people in ?ód? within the next two to three years.
