Besides negotiating attractive pricing with suppliers, it facilitates data driven support and finance admin for its Partners.

What is a Management Accountant?

We are looking for an experienced accounting professional with advanced commercial and accounting knowledge who can combine first-class analytical skills with a creative and problem- solving hands-on-mindset. As the new Finance team member, you will be responsible for all operational Finance topics. As an innovative thinker, you constantly generate your own ideas. You are able to think about the finance department of the future instead of just executing a finance role. You are confident and take ownership of your projects, but also collaborate with and motivate your colleagues in helping to build a scalable finance domain of the future.

Tasks

• Ensuring the current accounting (under Dutch GAAP) and the group reporting
• Active participation in the finance system implementation project
• Improvement and further development of billing processes with business partners
• Manage all cash flows
• Manage all finance interaction with different Suppliers and Partners
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Contact for banks, authorities, tax consultants and auditors
• Optimize our internal controlling and accounting processes
• Prepare ad-hoc analyses and dashboards for surprisingly wide-range of topics
• Hands-on mentality in accounting and tax topics
• Direct interface to the accounting department of the shareholders headquarters

Requirements

• Relevant master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or a highly analytical field (e.g.,Math, Engineering and Computer Science) and/or relevant job experience in one of the mentioned areas
• Experienced accounting skills
• Experience in the implementation of a financial accounting system would be helpful
• Out-of-the-box thinking and initiative: Hands-on, nothing-is-impossible mindset
• Very good organizational skills
• Advanced skills in Excel and data analysis
• Skilled in technical accounting
• Fluency in English, German and Dutch skills as a bonus

Desirable requirements

• 3 years of experience in a Finance/accounting related role
• Taxation knowledge
• Legal knowledge
