Opening Lines in a Cold Call I use::
Me: Hello, am I talking to (first-name)?
Prospect: Yes, it's me. Who are you?
Me: (first-name), I am Rohit from Angular Minds.
**Focus on speaking the first name of your prospects. They consider it.
***As this is your first call with them and you haven't sent any email either, Be gentle and calmer.
****Don't just rush to complete your pitch.
Prospect: Okay.
Me: Actually, my agenda to reach you was (insert your domain/products/services). Hope we can talk for a few seconds.
Prospect: Either YES or NO
**Prepare your list of queries and objections with multiple versions related to your offerings.
***Your calls might be better as per your judgment but if they avoid asking hard questions or objections on your first call, your call is a waste.
****If they tell you to share an email, consider it as a bogus call for 90% time!
Cold calls are tough when you are not interested in your prospects' interests.
Cold calls are tough when you lack the basics of your products.
Cold calls are tough when you don't know how to resolve their queries on that first call only.
Plus, you can't say that you will get back to them after talking to your seniors. Can you? ????

It's a DO or DIE situation.
While speaking over the cold calls, don't give yourself time to think.
Focus on what they are telling you
And ask the next question based upon their last sentence.
This way, they will find your calls interactive
And maybe, you will get a closure on your first call.

My experience: I had one lucky cold call in September 2019.
I was selling IT Training Programs then and luckily, I got that prospect on my 26th call.
He was attentive to what I was saying and asked a lot of questions. I wasn't even prepared for that many objections.
Anyway, I finished the call after 24 long minutes and got his appointment for the next day.
The next day, he came alone and confirmed his training the same day.
The next next day, he came with his father and paid the full amount.
Deal Closed ????
Lesson: Present yourself as a human over the cold calls.
