With the opening of its 100th restaurant in Ontario, Pizza Salvatoré announces its new goal of 500 restaurants by 2029, set by the Groupe Abbatiello

The ambitious goal of 100 restaurants by September 2024, set in 2019, has been achieved with the opening of this 100th branch in Hawkesbury, Ontario. The inauguration of the 100th franchise marks a new era for the Abbatiello Group, a family holding company established last June. The Group now encompasses Pizza Salvatoré , Topla! , Crèmerie Chez Mamie?? , and a number of other subsidiaries, including a property company, a recruitment and staff placement agency, Recrutement Agilité , and a franchise brokerage company, Québec Franchise Développement .

Overcoming challenges with determination

“Despite doubts expressed by some, including our own parents, the team remained undeterred in its determination to succeed. The entire team was unanimous in their belief in the project’s success. The entire team contributed to exceeding expectations and redefining the Quebec network landscape. “Despite the unprecedented challenges of the pandemic, from supply chain issues to the difficulty of finding building materials, the team remained undeterred,” said Elisabeth Abbatiello , Partner and Vice-President for Communications and Outreach at the Groupe Abbatiello.

A clear vision for the future

Having recently turned down a takeover offer from one of the biggest players in the sector, the aim now is to become a leading national restaurant group. “By the end of 2029, our objective is to expand our network to 500 restaurants under all banners, through new acquisitions and the opening of new chains. This is a significant step towards our goal of becoming the most respected restaurant group in Canada, based on the feedback of our customers, team members, partners, and the communities in which we operate,” states Ms. Abbatiello.
