You could spend years to obtain a PhD to get a job that pays less than $1000 a month, or you spend $20,000 a month for a PhD-level AI agent.
Two PhD graduates cost the same as one AI model, so is that the best option? In some funny full circle, originally, the fear was that AI would replace human jobs, but now, with such exorbitant prices, will we return to human labor because it’s more cost-effective?
However, the 20K PhD-level federal agent is likely aimed at large enterprises, research institutions, and governmental agencies that need high-level data analysis and advanced research.?
Will future AI companies charge people enormous amounts for a service that seems smart but isn’t as smart as marketed? Must-reads.
