Will OpenAI replace or improve teachers?

I am only writing this as I worry so many are just unaware of what is happening on a wider scale across the world and technology, as we are all so busy thinking about today, tomorrow and maybe next week!

Although we hear that OpenAI's goal is not to replace school teachers, but rather to augment and enhance educational experiences through the use of AI technology, I very much doubt that this is the whole truth.

We live in a world that is very keen to push one narrative, yet calls for everyone to be liberal and understanding, but only if that means falling in line with a government, corporate or globalist agenda. The censoring and cancelling of any debate, independent science, even history and religions is a direct attack on those who may think differently, hold a different but non-dangerous view and of course every critical thinker on the planet!

Tech already controls what you see and when you see it, it creates deep fakes and acts in concert with media and business to ensure you are their type of compliant consumer, so when moving down the chain for conformity after capturing the universities, the obvious next step is the schools, teachers and children. Unfortunately, it was Hitler coined the phrase, ‘you control the youth you control the future’.

Control is control, no matter who is in control!

So (in my humble opinion), teachers and schools need to beware, be mindful and be careful of how much you let openAI do within your place of learning.

It is great to be at a conference and listen to the energetic first movers spit lyricial about how amazing it is, but like most things in life that are created to be so pervasive for money and control, there is a heavy equal and opposite reaction to contend with.?

While AI can be a valuable tool in education, it shouldn't ever?replace the role of human teachers, especially when it comes to the social and emotional aspects of learning. Teachers don't just provide personalised instruction, guidance, and support to their charges, which is so essential for their mental and social development, they provide a source of encouragement and a cheerleader for the continued progress.

Megalomaniac, patent king, Bill Gates, is keen to remove teachers and replace with technology.

AI suggests it can be used in various ways to support teachers and students in the learning process.?

1. Personalised Learning: AI can help analyse individual student data and provide personalised learning paths based on their strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles. Adaptive learning platforms can offer customised content, resources, and feedback, supplementing the teacher's role in differentiation.

2. Intelligent Tutoring: AI-powered tutoring systems can provide real-time feedback and assistance to students. These systems can assess their progress, identify areas of difficulty, and offer explanations or additional practice to help them overcome challenges.

3. Content Creation and Curation: AI can assist teachers in creating and curating educational materials, including generating quizzes, worksheets, and lesson plans. This can save time and allow educators to focus on other critical aspects of teaching.

4. Language Learning and Translation: AI-based language learning platforms can provide speech recognition, pronunciation assessment, and language translation services to help students learn languages more effectively.

5. Grading and Assessment: AI can automate certain grading tasks, such as multiple-choice questions or assignments with predefined criteria. This can save time for teachers and provide quick feedback to students.

6. Virtual Reality and Simulations: Immersive technologies like virtual reality (VR) can create interactive and engaging learning environments. Students can explore historical sites, perform science experiments, or practice real-life scenarios through simulations.

All of the above sounds amazing, extremely useful and ultimately it's a great time saving, so what's not to like???

Like all tech sales, the user/customer is seen for their CAC(Cost Acquiring Customer) v LTV (Lifetime Value) ratio, their churn %( the attrition rate) along with the ’stickiness for the time on the site”.

The sales funnel for this is made so super easy if schools adopt, you reduce their cost of acquisition through an improved K-factor*(their virality), as teachers make cradle to grave tech so much more pervasive and profitable.

What an amazing, unaware, unassuming sales force they've built, for next to nothing!

Now I know for many this will feel like a harsh way of looking at this new and fairly helpful technology, but life is about sacrifice. We all sacrifice time that we can never get back to do something we value at that point in time.

You have a value for your time at work, for family, friends and hobbies, to do any of these things you must sacrifice time doing one of the others….

So if OpenAI does save time, then think about how you augment what you already do to make you the best teacher you can be! An educator and role model that is 10000% necessary to the continued progress and development of your children.

OpenAI or any knowledge funnel system will eventually provide just one answer, one narrative, one sentiment backed by one massive homogenous repository where you lose the ability to think for yourself. It is a system that is very open to bias, corruption and coercion, to the favoured ‘nudge effect’!?

Creativity, emotion and social energy will never be an AI tool, no matter how many stories try to convince you otherwise, its just another sales technique to keep you sticky!

Make sure children challenge, debate, feel free to voice opinion without fear of retribution.?Teachers are crucial for building relationships, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and social skills, and providing emotional support to students and is irreplaceable in creating well-rounded learners.

Only those teachers who are real teachers, who want to develop thinkers, promote social mobility, create victors not victims and help all children to rise to their true potential, will see the logic in the above.?

Take a step back and ask yourself, where could this be in 5 years time? What do I have to offer that it will never be able to give??

That's your route to amazingness!

AI should be about efficiency and not execution, an enabler, not a replacer!

Use openAI, but proceed with caution and never let it think for you!
