OpenAI Launches GPTs, What are they???
Today, OpenAI launched GPTs as part of its OpenAI DevDay 2023.
GPTs, referring to custom versions of ChatGPT, can be created by users for specific purposes using OpenAI's GPT Builder. These GPTs are designed to be more helpful and tailored to individual users' needs, whether it's for personal tasks, work-related activities, or other specific applications. They empower users to customize ChatGPT without requiring any coding skills.
If you have used ChatGPT, you may have experienced the need to provide extra knowledge or explanations to customize your responses.
OpenAI introduced Custom Instructions in July to enable users to set preferences, but these were found insufficient for addressing user customization requirements efficiently.
In fact, OpenAI acknowledges that many power users maintain lists of carefully crafted prompts and instruction sets, manually copying them into ChatGPT.
With the introduction of GPTs, users can create custom versions of ChatGPT using their own uploaded data (PDFs, DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, text, images), along with instructions and actions, to craft their specific ChatGPT agents.

OpenAI places its trust in the community to develop the best GPTs. They believe the most remarkable GPTs will emerge from builders in the AI community. Whether you are an educator, writer, coach, or simply someone enthusiastic about creating useful tools, you can create and share your expertise without the need for coding knowledge. GPTs comprise a knowledge source, instructions, and actions, all without the need for coding skills.
While this feature is currently exclusive to ChatGPT Plus Subscribers (currently paying $20/month) and Enterprise customers, it represents a significant step forward in enabling users who do not have coding skills to participate.
It's time to start building. There are no more excuses for those who can't code.

Enjoy the building process, and as always, stay curious, my friends! ????
