Chris Nicholson, the AI expert and partner with Page One Ventures used ChatGPT. He typed a query indicating that he was an English speaker with no Spanish knowledge. Then, he asked the chatbot to teach him the basics.?

In response to Nicholson's query, the chatbot immediately gave a detailed and well-organized output. Not only this, the GPT-4 provided a wide range of techniques to learn and remember Spanish words.?

Nicholson asked the same question from ChatGPT, which relied on GPT 3.5. It, too, gave a syllabus and suggestions. However, recommendations from ChatGPT were more generic and less helpful.?

Nicholson said, "GPT-4 has broken through the precision barrier. The latest version includes more facts, and they are often right."?

It is more accurate.?

Oren Etzioni, an AI researcher and technical director of Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence (AI2), tried the chatbot and asked: "What is the relationship between Oren Etzioni and Eli Etzioni?"?

When a similar question was asked to ChatGPT, it gave the incorrect answer saying that Oren Etzioni and Eli Etzioni are brothers. On the other hand, GPT-4 said that Oren Etzioni is the son of Eli Etzioni (father). It added, “Oren Etzioni is a computer scientist and CEO of the AI2 (Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence)."

Though the answer was correct compared to ChatGPT, the new chatbot still made mistakes. The chatbot did not realize that Dr. Etzioni had recently joined as Technical Director of AI2 and stepped down as the CEO of Allen Institute.

It describes images with more detail.?

Unlike ChatGPT, GPT-4 can respond to images in addition to text. Greg Brockman, the president and co-founding member of OpenAI, illustrated the ability of GPT-4 to describe images from the Hubble Space Telescope.

If you open the fridge, click an image, and ask GPT-4 to recommend meals, it can quickly suggest meals you can make from what's on hand.

Though OpenAI hasn't yet released this image detection technology to the public, Be My Eyes company is using this tech to build services. The core idea is to provide detailed answers to the images snapped in the real world or encountered in the real world.

Anil Gehi, who is an associate professor of medicine and a cardiologist at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, explained GPT-4 the patient's entire medical history, including the complications experienced when admitted to the hospital.

He also described several terms related to the medical field that laypeople would not be able to recognize. Then he asked GPT-4 how to treat that patient.

Surprisingly, GPT-4 gave the same answer as he had treated the patient. Mr. Gehi said, "This is exactly how we treated the patient." When he tried other scenarios, the chatbot gave the perfect answers.

Though GPT-4 is an advanced version with exceptional qualities, it is not good at discussing the future. It seemed to draw on what other people have said in the past about the situation instead of creating new guesses.
