OPEN YOUR MOUTH AND DECLARE

Tik Tok, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram…all of social media is alive and buzzing with people making declarations about what they believe
In a world that is going awry, we must be intentional in declaring
A declaration is a positive or formal statement in regard to anything; an affirmation; an explicit assertion; an avowal; a publication; a proclamation.
We must say without reservation that our God, according to Deuteronomy 32:4
“He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.”
“For the Lord is a great God and a great King above all gods.” (Psalm 95:3)
We must speak to the greatness of our God as we repeat Isaiah 40:26,
“Lift up your eyes on high And see who has created these heavenly bodies,(stars) The One who brings out their host by number, He calls them all by name; Because of the greatness of His might and the strength of His power, Not one is missing.”
We must declare that from the very beginning,
“So, God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them.” (Genesis 1:27)
God is faithful and watches over His word to perform it. When facing discouragement and despair
“God is not a man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should repent (change his mind). Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?
When dealing with trouble
“Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.”
We must not be afraid to assert God’s Word
“By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was made from things that are not visible.”
We must declare to men and women
“Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.” (Isaiah 55:6-7)
There are so many more declarations that we can make. The Holy Scriptures are alive with them. In a world that is not afraid to declare wrong as right and right as wrong, we, as believers of the Most High, Sovereign God, must open our mouth with our declarations and repeat them loudly and often to ourselves and others.
