Welcome to the May edition of Boots to Books' Open Roles for Vets and Spouses Newsletter! If you are new here, every month we share great resources, events, and open roles from companies looking to HIRE from the military community!

We don't know about you, but team Boots to Books has had a busy past few weeks and we are excited to tell you why!

We launched two amazing programs this month dedicated to our military-connected jobseekers, and neither costs a cent!

1. Boots to Books Resume Drop: The resume drop allows you to submit your job-seeker profile to our team, and we will share it with companies we have vetted and are actively hiring from the military community! If your profile catches a recruiter's interest, they will reach out directly! Submit your profile to the recruiters here!
2. Junior Enlisted Transition Program (JET-P): The JET-P program is a pilot that will accept three transitioning junior enlisted service members to receive industry-recognized certifications of their choice, interview and resume assistance, as well as structure in the job search! The program is eight weeks long, and recipients will be expected to spend about two hours per week on it. Applications are open, apply today! Recipients announced June 1st!

Boots to Books Transition Masterclass Community

Join the Boots to Books Masterclass community and take advantage of over 130 video lessons covering common pain points experienced in the military transition, whether it be the job search (e.g. picking a job, resumes, and interviewing), starting a company, or getting a professional certification, there is a video to help! Plus, ask your questions in the innovative community!

Grow with Google

Grow with Google provides a plethora of resources to job-seekers! Whether you are looking at attaining a certification in data analytics or cybersecurity, getting interview tips and practice, or garnering insights from recruiters, they have it and it is free!
