I come through a lot of open position posts on LinkedIn in the field of AI in both academia and industry. I was resharing or publishing them on my profile and I found that many people found it beneficial, however, it is very difficult to reshare or publish them in separate posts, so I thought it will be a good idea to gather all the open positions I come through every week and publish them in a weekly newsletter. 2. Machine Learning Engineer

1. Ph.D. / Postdoc positions

1.1. Ph.D. Positions in Robot Real-World Perception @ University of Bonn

Cyrill Stachniss is looking for two new Ph.D. students (f/m/d) for my lab in Bonn. If you are interested, please apply before August 7, 2022. The research focus of the positions will be on real-world perception for:

(A) agricultural robotics in the context of 4D geometric semantic SLAM and

(B) robots operating in forest environments performing the geometric and semantic mapping.

The first position (A) will be established within a new DFG-funded research unit and the second position (B) is funded by the European Commission within a collaborative project.
