Open Letter: How Will You Earn the Commute?

Open Letter: How Will You Earn the Commute?

The workspaces of tomorrow are fundamentally different than those of yesterday.

Organizations are now under pressure and subject to the expectation that they must create an environment people love and want to work in.

Teams are now migrating back to in-office environments as more and more companies are issuing RTO (return to office) orders -- (the latest are a who’s who of companies: Amazon, Starbucks, KPMG).

As that is taking place, a crucial piece of the puzzle is missing when visionaries begin building a space.

They’ve got people with a system and a budget for everything exterior: a broker for the land, an architect for the aesthetic design, a contractor for the building.

That leaves the interior as the very last thing the visionary thinks about.

Ironically, it’s the very first thing people notice when they enter the workspace – AND it’s the thing that will keep them coming back.

A well-designed interior workspace, an immersive workspace, is more than the sum of its parts.

It invites and inspires the human spirit, the human interior, towards passion, innovation, and collaboration, each individual in the space adding to the sum of the whole.

I’ve been in this industry for 30 years.

Until now, there’s been nowhere to go that puts all the interior needs, all the human needs, all the social needs, all the technical needs, of a space together in one building, where visionaries can physically see, touch, hear, feel and imagine everything that’s possible.

Before you plan, before you buy, before you write the last check.

There has been no one one place to go for owners who had to navigate all the pieces on their own: electric car chargers, building signage, misters and heaters for outdoor patio spaces, lighting control and shading control, mechanical system control, audio visual installations, acoustic treatments, custom glass applications, and every rug, chair, desk, and lamp.

At NextSpace we have built an immersive workspace gallery so visionaries can imagine the possibilities of their own immersive workspaces.

We’ve got the best in the industry, showcasing the best of what they can do.

  • So you can attract the best talent and keep it.
  • So your team will have what they need, when they need it.
  • So your clients will have the best experience you can offer.
  • So your organization can go from simply housing people who work, to helping people imagine what’s possible.

I believe that’s what visionaries deserve when they are investing so much of their time, their capital, their energy and leveraging the future of their businesses on the workspace they are creating.

Because we didn’t see a place like this in the market, and watched as visionaries had to visit dozens of places just to get a small sense of what the finished product should be, we built it ourselves.

What can we say? We’re doers.

And while we’re glad to be NextSpace, we’re more than just the space.

We see NextSpace as an evolution, a movement in our industry, one that gives you a place to define your vision, using your imagination.

We see ourselves as partners in your imagining.

We want to tour you through, walk alongside you, answer your questions, give you a place to dream about what’s possible.

And create the coolest, most compelling and fun spaces your teams will thrive in.

What will your next space be?
