An Open Letter to the Boston Globe to revisit its Jeffrey Epstein reporting.

I sent the following as an email to Boston Globe reporters Deirdre Fernandes and Shirley Leung.

Hi Deirdre and Shirley,

Is there any chance that you would consider revisiting the Globe’s coverage of the Epstein report in light of new evidence? I reread Deirdre’s piece on Neri Oxman and Bill Ackman from September 2019 — I had no idea that Ackman was Oxman’s husband. Virginia Giuffre’s Dec 30, 2014 against Epstein, Dershowitz and Prince Andrew triggered news stories around the world, and many in the Globe, with graphic accounts of Epstein as a blackmailer, pedophile, rapist and sex trafficker.

Ito was Epstein’s handler at the Media Lab, and he and Epstein worked up a new $10 million donation to "mollify the bad press” from Giuffre’s lawsuit. This is what Israel Ruiz is talking about in his Jan 13, 2015 email.

This email is what the entire report was staged to hide. Virginia Giuffre is referenced a dozen times in the Epstein report, but never by name because then people like Neri Oxman and Rafael Reif couldn’t say that they didn’t know anything about Epstein in 2015.

And to make this work, honest people like Cynthia Barnhart and Martin Schmidt had to lie about the Jan 13, 2015 senior leadership meeting.

Deutch, Reed and Millard hired superstar lawyer Scott Barshay to stage this fraudulent report, and he did it by searching 600K MIT emails for any references to Epstein that threatened the narrative they constructed.

And it’s this same team that is presently destroying the life of MIT grad student Prahlad Iyengar, in a complete replay of what was done to Aaron Swartz. The brutality being visited upon MIT students in the name of U.S. "ally" Israel beggars belief. And though some faculty, students, and outside groups have written to Sally Kornbluth to ask that MIT respect free speech and civil disagreement, not a single person has recommended the single thing that most urgently needs to happen: MIT students need legal representation to fight back against the legal attacks currently underway.

But please consider for a moment what it means that Deutch is inducting Joi Ito and Ed Boyden into the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in Oct 2017. Just consider what is going on here. Deutch, Ito and Ruiz know that Epstein is a rapist, pedophile, sex trafficker and blackmailer, and still they are protecting him, still they are allowing Epstein to “hold court” at the Media Lab.

Ito has a high school diploma and no scientific background. That’s why Deutch put him in charge of the Media Lab, precisely to serve as Epstein’s handler.

I am turning my investigation into a book, “The Mossad Mole at MIT”, focused on Deutch. Ostensibly to serve Israel, Deutch and fellow MIT alum Benjamin Netanyahu sabotaged Barack Obama and U.S. energy policy and they planted Epstein at the Media Lab for blackmail purposes. And now Billionaire Bill Ackman is destroying careers, erasing dissent, with baseless accusations of anti-semitism.

Once Linda Henry joined the board of MIT’s boondoggle venture capital outfit, the Engine, your coverage of MIT corruption and crime stopped on a dime, just when it was most urgently needed. Journalism is irreplaceable. Every horror about Trump is widely known, and yet it has no consequence. We must communicate in tandem with a legal strategy, and we must communicate in a way that reaches the audiences we need to reach.

I can’t communicate this story in a way that will have any consequence without the Boston Globe. Linda Henry may be a billionaire but I don’t believe that she is a supremacist billionaire, but we urgently need a course correction if we are going to survive all the challenges we face.

Even a short call 15-30 minutes would allow me to walk through the pieces of this incredible story.
