Dear Apple,
I have been an iPhone user for a very long time. I remember holding my first iPhone almost 8 years ago, I was mesmerized by the touch screen. I was an avid blackberry user back then, who loved my QWERTY keyboard, but you came along and changed the game.
It seems as though that was the last time you introduced something that was a game changer. I look at all the upgrades that you have made since then to the iPhone, all of these tech that you call "new" have been in the market for so long. Yeah, you market them better, but you are always behind the curve. Honestly, the only reason I am still with you is because of the UI and UX of the iPhone.
Few years ago you "came out" with the touch screen, but the thing is Samsung had already been doing that.
Now you are talking about unlocking your phone with facial recognition, I remember my friend back in 2012 who carried an android phone that did that.
Nothing you have done in the past few years has been "new" so to speak, you aren't bringing in any break through technologies. So now when I read an article about you not supporting the 600mhz technology for the bandwidth. Once again you are behind the curve because a lot of other phone manufacturers are supporting this.
So what I am trying to tell you here is that you are about to lose a customer that has been loyal to you for a very long time. Stop being a jerk and get with the technology otherwise you might be left behind like Blockbuster.

6 年Apple is no longer a technology leader. Its merely a brand now with very little innovation. I see no difference between the iPhone 6 I have and the iPhone 8. So this time round, I'm switching to Android.

6 年I have been an Apple guy since 2005 or 2006, I've had iMacs, MacBooks, MacBook Pros and loved all of them.? I still think that IOS and OSX are the best operating systems out there.? That said, the only product that I would buy from Apple right now is the iMac or maybe a MacBook Air, if I had the need for one.? They have messed everything else up.? The MacBook is a piece of crap with one single port so you can't run it on power and say plug in a USB at the same time.? The MB Pro's "butterfly switch" keyboard is getting mega-complaints and breaks so often Apple had to warranty them for like four years and they took all the ports away from it also except USB-C.? I don't have USB-C and I am not going to pay for your damn connector, Apple. I'm kinda done Apple and if my 2015 MB Pro dies, I'll buy and older model off Craigslist or something but I won't buy this new crap.

6 年Well written and as a die hard iPhone user I feel the same they are way behind and whatever they proclaim is a first was to them but others as you put it already have introduced it.
