Optimization of Open Community Program — simplify the identities and proposals

For the cryptocurrency market, the cold winter has come, but we still hope to grow together with the community. So we made some adjustments to the OCP to make it easier for community members to join Crust.

In the following, we will introduce the OCP in detail and let you know how Crust enthusiasts can join the OCP, what kind of rewards you can expect, and what rights and benefits you get within our program and community.

OCP Member Journey

<Guest> — <Member> — <Ambassador> — <Council>

Crust OCP is divided into 4 identities. The higher the level, the higher the honor and responsibility, and the higher the rewards.

After accumulating experience and achievements, members can propose to upgrade to obtain?<Ambassador>?status. The Community Council will vote for you based on your performance. If you pass the vote, you will get the?<Ambassador>?status set by the administrator. With this status, you can enjoy higher job remuneration.

If you want to further contribute to Crust’s OCP and have a certain desire to lead a team, you can initiate a proposal to join?<Council>. The original council will be able to vote on rewards and identify upgrade proposals. You’ll have some leadership in your guild!

The Community Council has the highest decision-making authority in the Crust community.

In the early days of the OCP, the Council consisted of the Crust council, but we will gradually transfer seats to the most valuable and contributing community members.

How to join OCP?

OCP will use?Discord?as the main collaboration platform and?Subsquare?as the main discussion. Since Subsquare is a Crust’s on-chain democracy platform, we decided to migrate OCP to Subqaure. We will also organize and sync the content of previous proposals to Subsquare.

In general, you need to pass 2 certifications and ensure that the CRU balance in your wallet is more than 50 CRU, and you can obtain <member> role.

Step 1 — Get <Guest> Role

First of all, you need to join Crust Discord and pass the “human verification”, otherwise you will not be able to get permission to speak and browse some channels.

After this, you will get the status of <Guest>.

Congrats on officially joining the Crust community. Guests can participate in most channel discussions.

Step 2 — Get <Member> Role

If you want to further contribute to the Crust community and get rewards in return, you need to upgrade to Member status.

<Member> needs to pass a “CRU balance verification”. Your Crust address requires at least 50 CRU in order to pass the verification and needs to be put in the required format as explained in the channel.

After your address is verified, you will get <member> status!

Congrats on unlocking OCP’s Guild channels, now you can select the channel you are interested in, enter and discuss with others!

OCP Process

The process of OCP is mainly divided into the following two parts:

Part 1- Proposal

1) Community members can submit proposals in the?subsquare — discussions.

*Due to the current market situation, we only open proposals for business cooperation and various online and offline events.

The format is as follows:

2) It is up to the Crust Ambassador and Council to vote on whether to pass the proposal. The voting link will be generated by Council and sent to the <proposal> channel for display.

*Voting is conducted in Crust’s democratic platform?Subsquare, Ambassador and Council will have identification badges, and only the votes of Ambassador and Council will be counted as valid votes.

3) After the proposal is approved, the proposal sponsor will enter the proposal execution period.

4) After the proposal is executed, within 14 days, the council will pay the reward, and the completed proposal will be displayed in the <show case>.

Part2 — Bounty

1) The bounty request is put forward by the Crust council and posted on the discord <bounty>.

3) Bounty follows a first-come, first-served basis, with Ambassador and Council determining the best recipients.

4) Bounty recipients will enter the proposal execution period after being confirmed.

5) After the proposal is executed, within 14 days, the council will pay the reward, and the completed proposal will be displayed in the <show case>.

Part3 — Monthly review

For better communication and cooperation, all members participating in the OCP are available to attend the monthly meeting.

Rewards standards

• All rewards are judged based on the contribution results. The reward is based on USD, CRU is floating, and the final reward is paid in CRU.
• All contributions require proof of work for all community members to see.
• All rewards can be posted by the Community Council or proposed by members.
• Every three months the Community Council will adjust the offer slightly.
