1.2??PROFILE:?

The Sustainable Rural Development Program (SRD/GIZ) works with businesses and the government to increase competitiveness and raise income in the rural areas of Albania. Together, we establish innovations in agriculture and rural tourism, scale them in the market and build a strong enabling environment. We focus on vegetables, fruits, dairy, and medicinal plants in agricultural value chains, and promote outdoor sports, agritourism, and destination management in rural tourism.

We do this in the context of EU accession, promoting green growth, fostering digitalization, and advancing diversity. In cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, SRD II is implemented by GIZ, on behalf of the German Government and co-financed by the Swiss Development Cooperation, between 2023 and 2026.

2. SUBJECT

Agritourism development and sector self-organization is supported by SRD / GIZ. Within this framework, a company will be contracted to work closely with Agritourism Association in order to support its further development as well as build together with it the good practices related to Agritourism Services. Furthermore, administrative, legal, and network creation services for agritourism associations will be provided.

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is looking for a consulting company for the Support Package for Agritourism Association.

3. ELIGIBILITY

Eligibility: Participation is open to all legal companies and civil society organizations which are effectively established in Albania (participating either individually or in a grouping — consortium — of tenderers).

Eligible to apply:

·???????Have an average annual turnover for the last three years of 20,000 Euro

·???????Have an average number of employees and experts at least 3 persons in the last three years

·???????Have all the resources and experience working in the agritourism sector to offer a combination of services, training, on-the-farm practices; event organization; together with networking opportunities, and other resources to support the growth of the agritourism association.?

·???????Have at least 3 relevant experiences in organizing and implementing projects, and activities with agritourism associations and agritourism farms in Albania. Networking with the sector is very important.

4. DEADLINE & APPLICATION INFORMATION

After the due date for submitting the application, the process of prequalification will follow. The submitted applications will be evaluated, and only prequalified candidates will be invited to answer the bid. All written communication for this procedure and the following successful ones must be in English.
