OOSC Awarded Kings Awards for Enterprise
OOSC CLOTHING has been recognised as a winner of the King’s Awards for Enterprise, awarded for outstanding achievements in the fields of Innovation, International Trade, Sustainable Development and Promoting Opportunity through social mobility.
The Pemberstone Capital Partners backed ski-wear and casual clothing brand are in good company within the West Midlands, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Aston Martin, Horiba Mira, Unity Trust Bank and the Birmingham County FA who also received the award.
Now in its 58th year, it is the most prestigious business award in the country, with successful businesses able to use the esteemed King’s Awards Emblem for the next five years.
Nick & Aaron started the business in 2015, combining their love of après and skiing into an old school product – the ski suit.
Nick Marsden , co-founder and director said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have won the Kings Award for International trade! OOSC is now sold to over 110 different countries worldwide and it’s truly awesome to get Royal approval for all our efforts in selling our sustainably made skiwear. We put so much effort into the business and to have this kind of recognition is amazing! We look forward to the Royals wearing some OOSC on the mountain soon!”
Steve Ward , Chief Executive of Pemberstone Capital Partners thinks this award will boost the profile of OOSC for years to come: “We’ve been heading in a really good direction with OOSC and this award proves it. It sets them in good stead for their ambitious plans to expand internationally and I’m sure the team’s passion and innovation will see the company go from strength to strength as consumers increasingly value high performing clothing that also has an environmental imperative ”.
