OOPS!! DO YOU HAVE EMOTIONAL PAIN???

Human beings have two bodies within one?? Don’t believe me?? Let’s explore!! . One is 'Physical body' which is visible having gendered body, Sensory organs, Limbs and main vital organs. The other is invisible 'Emotional body' which reveals itself when we think about our attitude, behavior and actions, it comprises of the Mind, Intelligence and Conscience.


Physical body has been explored since umpteen ages and has been worked upon tirelessly. We are now fully aware of our various body organs and their normal metabolic functions and how abnormalities in their regular activities lead to diseases or ailments. Researchers and Doctors now have treatments almost for every illness possible. Every disorder now is being diagnosed easily and the cure is followed at the earliest. Pain in physical body, can be localized and the required drugs administered to relieve the pain.


But what about our emotional body?? It’s difficult to pin point the pain which can't be localized. The pain can come in the form of Sorrow, Fear, Panic, Distress, Discouragement, Depression, Shame, Decline of physical energy and vitality with body pains due to guilt following a series of sins or resulting from a string of lies and long-held suppressed grudge; skin rash after a quarrel with someone; colds due to mental stress and arguments; heart rhythms changing in response to various feelings; high blood pressure from bouts of anger, or fear and stress, or imagined problems. The list goes on….


Many of us suffer from this pain since our childhood and carry it to our graves without ever knowing why we are hurting. King David said, "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones." Our thought and mental state can have a profound effect on our physical body and our over-all quality of life as both the physical and emotional bodies are interconnected. When one is affected, the other too suffers.


Then how can one ‘Diagnose’ the emotional pain?? Well. For that we need to observe our 'thoughts'. Yes we have to observe our thoughts, the pattern of our thinking negative or positive, the direction in which our thoughts make progress and the period of time we think for a specific emotion. We have to 'witness' our thoughts. We have to come out of the entanglement of the ceaseless thoughts. Negative thoughts can paralyze or freeze up one's entire being and inhibit progress in all pursuits or goals in life. Remember, the solution begins from within: heal the mind and you will heal the person’s emotional and physical body too.


So, what are the remedies to be used to find relief from the emotional pain? The first and foremost is off load the baggage of the past. Learn to forgive and forget!!....make it a habit to have a healthy dose of BE POSITIVE vitamin everyday!! Be grateful for what you have, as there are many who do not even have one percent of what you have. Fill your thoughts with Love, Faith, Hope, Joy, Pride, Gratitude, Courage, and Confidence. Love yourself and remember to celebrate the uniqueness in you. Filling your emotional body with these thoughts would certainly relieve you of all the pains, will make you feel emotionally lighter and happier.


Doctors recommend being in fresh air for physically body and I recommend being in fresh mind for your emotional body. Learn to meditate…wipe out everything towards the end of the day. Wake up with fresh body and fresh mind…everyday is a new day. Wishing you all a speedy recovery!! GET WELL SOON!!
