A $42,000 limited edition blue porcelain balloon dog sculpture, by world-famous American artist JEFF KOONS, was accidentally smashed by an art collector in Miami last week.

The shiny, electric blue sculpture was on display at the Bel-Air Fine Art's booth during the Art Wynwood contemporary art fair.???It shattered after the collector tapped it to see if it was a balloon.?

Koons is known for his pop culture references and depictions of everyday objects.??One of his most expensive artworks - his sculpture 'Rabbit' – sold for $91.1 million.?

INNOVATIVE BALING AND STACKING

A self-propelled 16-bale collector has won the complex category of the 2023?Farmers Weekly?Inventions??Competition in the UK.??The big-bale lorry chaser was built by Joe Williams and Tim Ansell of the Hertfordshire contracting firm Eastern Counties Straw.?

Based on a 2013 eight-wheel Scania lorry, the bale-collector travels much faster over rough ground and reliably produces stable stacks every time.????

The hydraulic arm on the front grabs bales and drops them onto a hinged platform on the cab roof, which then lifts at the front, forming a ramp that the bales slide down before landing on their side on the rear deck.??Another bale is dropped onto the first, forming a double layer, before a hydraulic headboard shunts them down the bed, making room for the next pair.?

When unloading, the whole bed tips up so that the bales can be deposited vertically.??At the same time, a couple of flaps pop out the floor to step the top half of the load, making for a more stable stack.??
