As we close out 2024, I find myself reflecting deeply on the power of community. Community sustains us, connects us, and drives collective progress.??

When communities are equipped with the tools and resources to thrive, everyone benefits. This is at the heart of building community wealth and wellbeing.??

We know firsthand the transformative power of community. Our lending, consulting, and advocacy pillars work shoulder-to-shoulder with changemakers on the ground, ensuring their organization’s financial health, sustainability, and durability during uncertain times. Together, we are reimagining resilience as equity-focused, community-led, and future-ready. ?

In 2024, NFF collaborated with our nonprofit partners to advance initiatives like:??

• Expanding community ownership: Providing below-market-rate capital to help preserve assets in New Jersey for community ownership.??
• Advising Black-led organizations: Strengthening the financial infrastructure and spotlighting the economic contributions of Black-led and Black-empowering nonprofits in California.???
• Advocating for the Full Cost Framework: Mobilizing funders to understand and commit to funding the total capital needs of nonprofit organizations.??

And this is just the beginning!?

Looking ahead to 2025, we know that through intentional investments, we can strengthen the foundations for lasting change.?
