#OnTheTeam - Meet Amy!

In this Interview, meet Amy, our sales supervisor in Hong Kong!

Could you please introduce yourself, your name, and what you do at OnTheList?

My name is Amy, and I’ve been working at OnTheList for five years now. I am a Sales Supervisor at the Hong Kong Quarry Bay showroom.

Can you tell us a little bit about your journey at OnTheList? How long have you been here?

I’ve been working at OnTheList for almost five years. Before joining, I worked for several luxury brands. Transitioning to OnTheList was a big change for me and quite a challenge. However, I’ve found it refreshing because every day here feels different and dynamic.

You worked for several different luxury brands before joining OnTheList. What made you join the company instead of continuing with those brands?

Yes, before joining OnTheList, I worked for brands like Lane Crawford, Miu Miu, Emilio Pucci, and Patrizia Pepe, among others.

Even though I worked in-store for both, the roles are very different. With luxury brands, you’re expected to provide a uniform, consistent level of service, and it becomes repetitive over time. The workdays can feel monotonous.

At OnTheList, however, the work is much more exciting and interesting. There’s always something new happening, and you never know what’s coming next. It’s challenging, and I enjoy the opportunity to try new things.

Out of all of OnTheList’s values, which one do you identify with the most, and why?

Sustainability is driven by positive impact.

What I love about OnTheList is how we help the brands we work with. Many of them have leftover stock season after season—there’s just so much excess. We assist them in clearing that stock, which helps them avoid waste and generate additional revenue. It’s deeply embedded in our company’s DNA to support brands in achieving this.

What is your favorite item you’ve purchased from OnTheList?

I’m a big fan of sports brands because I love exercising. Unfortunately, I missed the first Nike sale since I was on leave, but the Hoka sale was absolutely unforgettable! It was our first time partnering with Hoka, and the feedback from our members was incredible. The excitement was so overwhelming that customers were queuing through the lobby, out of the building, and even down the streets!

I still use the Hoka shoes I got from that sale—they’ve been amazing!

If you had to describe OnTheList in three words, what would they be?

Challenging, Crazy, and Unforgettable!
