Ontario Aerospace Council and Cyber Security Global Alliance Enter Formal Partnership!

Toronto, May 22nd, 2024 – Terranova Defense Solutions (TDS), Cyber Security Global Alliance (CSGA), and Ontario Aerospace Council (OAC) announced a partnership to help Ontario’s aerospace industry prepare for future cyber security threats and industry certifications. This partnership will help OAC provide Ontario’s aerospace industry the guidance and resources it needs to do that.

In coming years, global aerospace companies working in design, manufacturing, testing, and certification will be required to demonstrate advanced competencies in cyber security practices to remain part of critical industry supply chains. One example is the new version of the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program.

“Cyber threats represent a very real, very costly, and ever-evolving threat to even the most advanced aerospace manufacturers,” said Natasha Gagnon, Ontario Aerospace Council’s CEO.

“What we are providing is education, knowledge, and tools for our members and our industry to keep them safe from future attacks.”

Technologies like block chain, artificial intelligence, and quantum computing have increased the number and severity of cyber attacks. To address this, Terranova Defense Solutions and Cyber Security Global Alliance have led the development of patented post-quantum and blockchain security solutions used by the US Department of Defense CMMC framework for organizations, corporations, and governments globally. This partnership will make these solutions (and others) more readily available to Ontario’s Aerospace companies.

"Cyber Security Global Alliance is the World's Largest Cyber Defense Hub, with team members and satellite offices in 21 countries” said James Castle, Executive Director/Founder of CSGA and CEO/Founder of TDS. “We specialize in Cybersecurity, Education, Certification, Awareness, and Defense. Our strength is in the decentralized nature of our work, resources, research, talent, and innovations through our partners and members world-wide. We’re happy to make these resources available to Ontario’s aerospace industry.”

Thanks again for letting me stop by your event in Toronto yesterday, James. This new partnership with the OAC is a great step towards addressing the gap between where manufacturers (especially the smaller ones) are with their cyber resilience and where they really need to get.
