The Only Way Out is Through

The Only Way Out is Through

Dear Reader,

Sometimes words fail me. There are emotions, colors, experiences, and days when language is not enough.

The past two weeks have been a constant failure for me.

Life is always an ebb and flow. Recently, the ebb and flow has been tumultuous and challenging.

?

I do not subscribe to forced positivity. I doubt I ever will.

When I feel something, I sit with it. I am curious about it.

My feelings are vital to me. I like to pull on their threads until I find the tear in the fabric of their origin.

There is not always a silver lining. Sometimes, there is just suffering.

?

I am not a human that needs to find beauty in pain.

I do not need to find a reason in suffering to move past my internal reservoirs of confusion. ?

Things happen and we may never know why. Perhaps, there was not even a reason.

?

When words fail me, I find music does not.

When words fail me, I find my loved ones do not.

When words fail me, I find a hug does not.

When words fail me, I find sitting in sunshine does not.

When words fail me, I remember that nothing is permanent.

?

For time is of our own creation.

We cannot measure the hours for a broken heart to heal.

We cannot determine the months that final tears will be shed.

We cannot locate every emotional landmine that awaits us.

Nor should we.

?

For we are human.

A creation of what is most tragic and what is most beautiful, wrapped in packaging of all colors and designs.

?

Warmly,

A Woman That Is Going Through To Find Her Way Out
