The Only Way Out
The only way out is through.
It’s been over fifteen years since I first heard this phrase,?yet I still remind myself of it when I’m going through a challenging time.
The only way out is through. It makes sense, but it can be painful. Plus, we never know how long it is going to take to actually get through a difficult season of life. We don’t know what obstacles or hurt we’re going to have to endure to get to the other side of our struggle.
The good news is we can decide to trust.?
Trust that it’ll all work out. Trust that we’re learning something that needs to be learned for us to grow. Trust that we’ll be ok.
We gain strength and courage?during the “through”. So, if we can get a little more comfortable in that space, we’ll be able to enjoy more of what life throws our way.
