This is the only TRUTH

Dear Ethan
We are in Bhubaneshwar on the last day of the year. As we bid adieu to the year and are set to welcome the advent of another year, 2 things that happened this year must be discussed with you to realize how life would unfold.?
Last week we lost someone close to us. He left all of us for the heavenly abode leaving the family members in deep sadness. Near and dear ones were crying inconsolably and tears were rolling down their cheeks. Tears were in nood mood to stop. The sound of wailing was tearing the hearts and bones and it was a very difficult sight to bear. It was a testament to the fact that? life can be ruthless and fragile at times and can never be trusted. But this is the ultimate truth. As axiom as it can be like the sun rises every morning everyone has to depart and this is the unfortunate truth of life. What time, what age, what conditions can never be answered by anyone. Death comes when it wills to come not when you will it to come.
The second incident, though less severe, holds its own significance. Your childhood friend Chikki's visit brought immense joy and laughter. The hours flew by, and as night crept in, reluctance to part brought tears and longing. Yet, a promise to meet again eased the momentary sorrow.
These events, though differing in intensity, are intertwined. The departure of those close to us is inevitable. Some depart sooner, some later. Understanding this truth, while painful, is crucial. Embracing this reality early in life helps navigate grief. Time is a potent healer, a difficult concept to grasp but an ultimate truth.

Morgan Housel in his book Pshychology of Money has written it - things that have never happened before will always happen. Though this was mentioned keeping the money market in mind but this also is applicable to everyday lives as well.?
Be strong, accept the departure of someone close as the ultimate reality, don’t fret over it or spend a lot of time thinking over it. Time will cure everything. This is difficult to grasp but this is the ultimate truth. March ahead, stay focussed on the larger purpose of life. Keep the departed soul in your heart and do everything possible to reach your goal as that would probably be the most fitting tribute to the departed soul. Honor the departed by pursuing your aspirations—it keeps their spirit content. Your achievements are their eternal happiness.
Happy New Year 2024 to you, My Son. This new year, work harder, develop a winning mindset, focus on habits and grow more.?
Love you.
