It only takes one comment
It only takes one comment to loose our childhood innocence. Sharing with the world the things that makes us happy leaves us venerable to negativity. Once it's stollen, it's almost impossible to get back that childlike happiness. It requires an “I don’t care” attitude and it’s obvious that we do care. Why else would we share it? We should not have to hide what is important to our happiness because sometimes we are seeking an opinion, but we need to work even harder to try to protect it when we voice what is on our minds. We are not being fair to ourselves when a one second opinion leaves a lifelong impact on our lives. Negativity might always be put out there so make sure when you share, you’re not giving it legs to run in the wrong direction. Easier said than done, but still very doable with taking proper care of your own thoughts before you voice them.
The foolish man seeks happiness in the distance; the wise grows it under his feet. ~James Openheim
