Only One Week Ago...

Today Europe and the?world are witnessing another day of conflict.?

Only one week ago most of us could not have imagined a war-torn Ukraine.

Amid the ebb and flow of environmental and human threats, our sensitivity ebbs and flows to rhythms of its own; internal - external, clearly expressed - inarticulate, thriving with hope for humanity - in shock and disbelief.

Looking in; summoning inner sources of stability and strength, reaffirming purpose and faith.

Looking out; seeking the wisdom of those who suffered the high cost of injustice.?

What would Viktor Frankl, Nelson Mandela, Nicolae Steinhardt, bell?hooks think when?witnessing today's strings of injustice? If anyone asked, what would they advise upon seeing white women and children flee to safety while other women and children are?left behind - further collateral damages of tacit skin color bias...

The wars we fight. The "war stories" we collect. Our very own pain and joy portfolios. Do they add value to who we?are? Do they help us grow in our wisdom like a tree grows new rings with the passing of time?

Today Europe and the?world are witnessing another day of conflict.?

Tomorrow... pitch black or a blank new page.

Nice views. A conflict free world is a world without discrimination. The only way to get there is through inclusive collective efforts.
