Only one 'influential' woman in UX? Surely not!

I stumbled upon a list of UX influencers earlier today and was aghast to see that the list contained only ONE female UX'er. I found this incredibly frustrating to see so many awesome women failed to be recognised by this list. Having attended a number of Ladies that UX events and other UX events across London I have seen some of these incredible ladies in action speaking, educating and influencing and thought that it was a travesty they were not being recognised.
Why does this matter? I think it is really important that we highlight these women's achievements and also to demonstrate that this industry isn't just a bunch of 'white dudes' as one of my Twitter followers highlighted.
By 'influencing', I am not just including people who are 'social media influencers' but people who speak at events, or are out leading workshops and educating others within the industry.
In no particular order and completely non-exhaustive, I have put this together as a little list/directory of all the people who have been recommended to me for their achievements & input so you can check out what they do / follow them on Twitter! * Suggestions for additions welcome*.

In addition to my list Ladies that UX Manchester came up with their own list of female & non-binary speakers which you can see here which is full of highly influential UXers!
If you are interested in getting involved in Ladies that UX check them out here, not only do they have chapters nationally but also internationally. They in their own words 'are a welcoming, transparent community of women that work in UX, who positively promote and teach others' and I can vouch for this!
IF you feel I have missed anyone please drop me a line and I will add them to this list as I'd like this to be a growing directory of female leaders in the UX space.
