Fact: Everybody who is anybody has failed. Think about any CEO or successful individual you admire. They've been there, too. We’ve all been there.

Tough week? You’ve faced a colossal setback? If it's a big one, however you define it, take a day to feel sorry for yourself. Yes, really, schedule a pity-party for one day, indulge in some sulking, and stay in your comfiest PJs all day while watching Netflix’ guilty pleasures. But here's the real kicker: The next day, muster your strength, shake off that self-pity, and get back in the game with a renewed spirit. That's what sets true achievers apart, including my coaching client this morning.
