Only 2 ways to start an online business

Ok, this is how the story begins, I’ve just crossed 500 followers on medium, and it took 281 stories to cross 500 numbers, strange !!!.

Well, still, I couldn’t make much $ from medium, at least not even the expected amount. But this is not the crux of why I am writing this story.

The story is about how to create an online business and I believe there are only 2 ways to do it.

But the only 1 thing you need to be sure of is that your business needs no huge capital to start, I will come to this point later in the story.

First way

This way for people like me who are not sure whether their idea will work in the market or not.

• Test the idea
• Use no-code tools to build the MVP
• Market the product and see if people are ready to subscribe
• Collect data (for example, email addresses)
• Expand the horizon, scale up, time to move forward, CHAMP!!!

Second way

This way is for people who have a gut feeling that an idea might work ??.

• Develop basic MVP within 6 weeks of the time frame
• Launch, market and test the idea's credibility
• Feedback, take feedback boys!!!, generate leads.
• Keep doing it
• Expand probably after a few years

Pretty straightforward, the conclusion is to start the business using No-code tools, test the idea in the market asap and collect data, generate profits and expand.

Well, you can argue against using no-code tools because you are a developer ??

Wait read till the end!!!

If you are a Developer

I don’t have a problem, I am a developer, but you can only write code and enjoy it if you have a solid idea to pursue and profits to sustain.

Pay attention to business first, and set your priority, coding can leave aside for rest of the day once profits are gained.

If you are a crazy F** developer and can develop things faster and more efficiently than no-code tools, go for it, anytime and every time, write code!!!

I am later and I always prefer to be the later one, I feel that I can make a system, in fact, I made a system or admin panel to handle everything in my business using dashboards.

Automate everything using the dashboard, read the below story how and why?

Let’s take a real-life example,

Let’s suppose you want to start online writing as you love to share writings, thoughts, opinions and whatever the hell the reason.

What do you do?

• Build your blog website?
• Take freelance writing work to learn the art.
• Take a writing job?
• Read some good writers to learn writing first.

What the hell are you doing champ, writing is an art and everyone has their own way of doing it.

Learn and share together, learn while writing and most people including me are doing it.

SOLID process.

3 basic questions to be answered here-

• What do you want to write about?
• Where do you want to write?
• Can you make money?

See the point is asking Why and How, Why and How is the solution to most of our problems or the way to accomplish goals.

Let’s practise it again -

• If you want to be a writer, ask How I can be a writer?
• You want to write online, Where can I write?
• If you want to earn while writing, How can I earn while writing?

If you can’t think of a solution, then go back and find the answer, do your research, and do your homework, you are under experience to solve the problem.

If you are about the get the answer, use no-code tools or some development skills and build MVP to test the idea asap.

Follow the STEP 1

• Use a no-code platform to write, medium, hashnode, dev.to
• Market the writings, get the customers and reader
• Collect the email, generate leads, make profits
• Make your dedicated website and repeat the same process.

And if you are sure and have a strong gut feeling about the idea, open your notion and make a proper plan of action for the next 6 weeks and BOOM!!!, do it.

Follow the STEP 2

• Develop a basic blog website
• Launch it within 6 weeks
• Market the website, analyse the users
• Collect the email, generate leads and make profits
• Keep doing it until you make a big hit.

Bring anything to the table, I can somehow accommodate it under 2 steps, probably you also knew this but still need to read my stories to instil it within you, then you are not trying hard, give it some more time it will work.

Induce Dopamine by putting in efforts

Let’s make a chart, a common sense chart for everyone to understand.

You have a problem statement or an idea to execute, it can be anything.

Idea?=> Find a solution => Use no-code tools => Execute the solution => Market the product => Find customers => Make profits

Idea?=> Find a solution => Develop the MVP fast => Market the product => Get customers => Make Profits

This is not easy as it looks, how will you make profits even after getting customers, welcome to the club. That’s altogether a new story or new problem statement to solve.

The first problem is solving how to start and the next is waiting for you right on the doorstep.

If you are thinking what the hell is this, one problem after the other then go HOME boi, this game is not for you.

Enjoy the game, enjoy the art, and be part of the process, induce the DOPAMINE by putting in the effort rather than enjoying the rewards.

Conclusion

That's it, I can’t give any more insights, it is only 2 things you need to understand and follow anyone.

Keep asking why and how, this is where most of the problems are solved.
