I ran across this eMarketer article today on recent research conducted by SheSpeaks, and had to share. According to this recent study, 43% of women cited that the most credible and trusted source for product information was online product reviews / blogs, specifically online reviews written by people they follow or are like them.
This is important for product marketers, as many have still not embraced and fully leverage the power of online Influencers. I've seen the power of these efforts in action, as we have deployed these efforts successfully for many of our CPG clients, resulting in increased trusted brand awareness, and most importantly increased velocity.
