Online health advocates
Last month Janssen Australia and New Zealand was privileged to host 45 attendees at the HealtheVoices conference in Sydney. This meeting specifically designed for online health advocates and was focused on strengthening their online community.
Recently we surveyed a 1000 people and they told us that two out of three Australians seek health advice online daily. We also found that Australian’s turn to social media and online communities to feel inspired, better informed and less isolated. It is interesting to note that simple advice on living with their condition is the most valued content for those living with a chronic condition. Our research also provided insights into what health information Australian’s living with chronic conditions are looking for online. A full summary of this research is contained in the info-graphic below.
