Online Conversion is King - Part 1

Conversion is King ??

In Part 1 and Part 2 (to follow), I will share how to increase the conversion rate in your business.

First, I would like to thank all of you in the Level 10 eCommerce?Community for completing a recent poll and highlighting CONVERSION as the number one strategy that you'd like the most help with. It's been my pleasure to put this training together for you.

Conversion is one of the most important things to get right.??

Without conversion, there are no sales. Without sales, there’s less cash flow. Without increasing cash flow, it makes it very hard to scale an e-commerce business

If you get ample traffic to your online store but don’t convert that traffic into sales, you will never reach your revenue goals.?

For many online stores — even stores with great products and a strong brand — low conversion rates eventually lead to slow growth and even store failure.?

When Conversion Rate is ‘low’ it causes stress, increases frustration, and impacts many other areas of a business.

So. we focus on boosting the conversion rate, so you get more sales, increase revenue and accelerate growth of your business.

This is Part 1 of a 2-Part series. Today we'll start by addressing the three main problems ecommerce stores struggle with when it comes to conversion;

Problem #1 - Low Conversion Rate

Truth be told, those ‘good’ conversion rates (say around 3%) that you read about online, deliver only average results.?

An ‘average’ conversion rate, say between 2.0% and 2.5%, don't return enough cash that a store owner wants and needs to help grow.

Problem #2 - Everyone Wants Higher Conversions, But Don't Have A Conversion Strategy?

It’s impossible to get more conversions if you don’t have a system to help you do that.

Getting a higher conversion rate is not a ‘thing’, it’s actually a 'process'.?

If you don’t have a framework in place to test, monitor, and measure this process, you have no method for boosting your conversion rate.?

If you wanted to increase your conversion rate to 4.0%, 5.0% even higher, that can be done. I help clients achieve that. But, a conversion strategy roadmap is required to help guide you to that higher number.

Problem #3 - Most Brands Only Focus on One Type Of Conversion

Now, you might be thinking, 'what other type of conversion is there?'?

Yes, sales are the super important one. It’s what I call a MACRO conversion. But there are a few others you really need to know about if you want to get higher conversion and lock in more sales.

These are called MICRO conversions and they take place along your sales funnel.

If the steps in your funnel align with your buyer's journey, you will see more orders coming through and more often.

So to get more conversions it’s important to have a Conversion Strategy in place. When you do, specific things will happen...
