Online Business Owners: You Need These 5 Things In Place for a Profitable 2023

Online Business Owners: You Need These 5 Things In Place for a Profitable 2023

At The Business Advisory , we've helped hundreds of service providers build 6 and 7-figure businesses in?our coaching and consulting programs. And in the process, we've been able to study our clients' success to understand the core drivers in scaling to 7-figures and beyond. Today, I'm sharing them with you.

While, of course, every next level of business will require new skillsets and systems to continue scaling, these 5 things are fundamental to master if you want to break the 6-figure threshold, regardless of your industry. Here's what they are:

#1: A dialed-in system for visibility

Most business owners don't realize the difference between creating content and getting visible. The purpose of content is to nurture your existing audience, while visibility is what brings new people into your world.

If you're only creating content and not scheduling visibility opportunities on your calendar consistently, you are simply providing value to the people who already know you. And, while this is still a critical piece of scaling (we'll get into that in a bit), you need a mechanism for growing your audience simultaneously. The best way to do it? Leveraging other people's.

This could be via a joint Instagram live, LinkedIn live, speaking engagements, summits, or podcast guesting. Regardless of how you choose to get visible, you need a system to get discovered if you want to bring new leads into your world and continue scaling.

#2: Content that converts.

As I talked about earlier, your content is the thing that moves your audience through the know, like and trust process. High quality content is how you turn followers into clients.

The goal of your content is to provide high value (through educational or "how-to" style content), inspire (by sharing your story, testimonials, and being relatable) and stand out from the noise (by staying true to your convictions, disrupting your industry and avoiding the copy-paste trap that many marketers fall into).

#3: Daily sales

Do you have a system for driving daily consultations in your business? Most small business owners don't.

The key to creating predictability in revenue is to drive sales daily. Your conversion events (i.e launches) should support that, but you shouldn't rely on them as your only source of income.

If there's money coming out of your business each day, it also needs to be coming in. Your goal as a CEO is to create a sales system that brings new customers and clients in every single day. (we'll be covering this in-depth in our upcoming?Scale with Simplicity?workshop).

Understand that your sales, marketing and visibility system is a fully integrated process that works together to create an optimal customer journey, moving people from discovery, to relationship, to taking that next step and converting. Your sales system should create predictability in results and continuity — meaning you have set daily metrics for calls, conversations and consultations, and an idea of what your conversion rate looks like.

#4: A high-ticket offer and system for client results

There's an order of operations when it comes to high ticket vs. low ticket. It's not that one is better than the other; in fact, in our company, we have offers ranging from $26 to $150K+. However; it's difficult to scale past 7-figures in revenue with a low-ticket product or offer unless you already have built a massive global audience.

Low-ticket requires a much higher volume of customers to reach your profit goals; so developing a proven, high-ticket offer is a great way to scale your income while taking on less clients.

If you're unsure of how to turn your low-ticket product or offer into a scalable, high-ticket flagship offer - join us for the upcoming Scale with Simplicity workshop!

#5: A high-performing team

There's a limit to how much we can do on our own. At some point, you are going to max out, and in order to continue servicing clients, generating leads and building your brand; you will need support from a team.

This may start out as a virtual assistant, intern, or full-time sales/marketing person, and as you grow, you will be able to reinvest in more full-time employees that eventually are the catalyst to building a profitable, self-led company that can generate income without your involvement 24/7.

If you want to learn how each of these 5 systems work together and what you can do starting now to create predictability, profitability, and peace in 2023: we hope to see you on December 5th at our?Scale with Simplicity workshop!
