Onil launches tender for late Q1 and early Q2 2025
The Algerian buying agency ONIL (Office National Interprofessionnel du Lait et de Produits Laitiers) issued a new tender on Monday 25th November, for Whole Milk Powder (WMP), Skimmed Milk Powder (SMP) and Anhydrous Milk Fat (AMF), following the Soummam Skimmed Milk Powder (SMP) tender a week earlier.
The delivery period for the ONIL tender is Feb – May 2025. Closing Date for the tender is scheduled for November 28th with sellers across the globe expected to bid. EU suppliers are anticipated to bid aggressively on the tender according to industry sources. However, with the milk season in the southern hemisphere kicking off, suppliers from New Zealand are also expected to secure volumes. While the EU and New Zealand have been supplying Onil tenders before, Belarusian suppliers have become more important over the recent tender and are expected to be bidding again this time.
