OneWest Welcomes Emanuel Arnold

New Director of Operations, Emanuel Arnold, brings passion and expertise to OneWest.

Louisville, KY — Former Economic Development Manager at Louisville Forward, Emanuel Arnold, has joined the team at OneWest as its new Director of Operations to help lead and facilitate the economic transformation of west Louisville. As Director of Operations, Ms. Arnold will take on many responsibilities, including internal operations, communicating with and connecting entrepreneurs to available resources, and supporting new businesses to give them their best chance of success. Ms. Arnold will also collaborate with community partners to work more effectively with diverse constituencies to foster business and workforce success within underrepresented communities. Additionally, Emanuel will oversee the operations of business accelerator programs, tenant management, and business recruitment.

An Alumna of Indiana State University, where she earned a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Human Resource Development, Emanuel is passionate about creating an inclusive economy, and she will be working toward that goal with OneWest. “I really believe in OneWest’s mission, and I’m looking forward to helping them make an impact in the community,” said Emanuel. “We’re looking forward to a thriving community with more restaurants, retail outlets, real estate development, and more office spaces.”

"OneWest is extremely excited about the wealth of talent Emanuel brings to the team. We look forward to seeing her apply her energy and love of community to the work she is doing every day. Emanuel gets the economic vibrancy and opportunities that exist for our West End residents, and she is the next generation of leadership in Louisville. Her voice and leadership are very important," added President & CEO Evon J. Smith.

About OneWest

OneWest was formed in 2014 by a diverse group of professionals in Leadership Louisville’s Bingham Fellows program. They believed that the clearest path to an economic renaissance in west Louisville was an influx of private, philanthropic, and public capital. It is abundantly clear that Louisville’s continued growth and vitality rests primarily on the intentional and focused inclusion of residents in west Louisville. That concept has already worked for large-scale neighborhood revitalizations in Cincinnati and Nashville. Locally, Nulu and the Three Points District of Germantown, Schnitzelberg, and Shelby Park are examples of similar revitalization. Learn more at OneWest.org.
