One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things.

One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things.

Henry Miller is said to have quoted this.

Well, who doesn't love travelling?

Traveling is a crash course in the world's awesomeness.

Here's what I've learned so far:

?Appreciation.

For new places and cultures. And for home.

?Leg room is a luxury

?That the day to day 9-7 hamster wheel of life is what actually makes us mentally ill.

Traveling! It's my personal anxiety eraser.

Seriously, pack my bags, put me on a plane, and poof! My worries vanish faster than complimentary airplane peanuts (which is saying something).

But travel is more than just a stress vacation and here are a few gems I've picked up along the way:

Open Mind, Open World

Traveling cracks your perspective wide open like a fortune cookie. Suddenly, you see the world in a thousand shades of amazing, and your tolerance level for weird and wonderful things goes through the roof.

Perspective Potion

Ever felt like your problems are the biggest, baddest deal ever? Travel is the antidote! Seeing how people in other parts of the world tackle challenges puts your own worries in perspective. Suddenly, that overflowing inbox seems a little less daunting.

Airlines: The Great Price Balancing Act

Let's be real, airline pricing can be about as clear as airplane food. But hey, that's what travel blogs and a little bit of comparison shopping are for! Just remember, even if you have to pack light to avoid baggage fees, the memories you bring back are priceless.

Early Bird Gets the Worm (and Doesn't Get Stuck in Security)

There's a reason they call it "arriving early." Avoiding the airport scramble is like giving yourself a gift of peace (and maybe even enough time to snag a decent cup of coffee before your flight).

The Human Paradox

Travel is a beautiful reminder that humanity is a glorious contradiction. People everywhere share a desire for connection, laughter, and delicious food (seriously, the food!). But we also express that desire in a million unique ways. It's a paradox that makes the world endlessly fascinating!

Go ahead, ditch the stress, embrace the adventure, and remember: the world is waiting to be explored!

Just pack your sense of humour, a healthy dose of wanderlust, and maybe a bigger carry-on for all those souvenirs (because, let's face it, travel souvenirs are practically mandatory).

What's your take on travel?
