WORLD CUP IN QATAR: One of the biggest sport events on our planet is about to start in in a few days - and therefore also the most discussed and criticized of all times. There are countless contributions, posts and statements (also here on LinkedIn ) in which the individual disinterest or even interest is postulated. But how does the football-interested population in Germany see and feel it? What would increase the respective interest? We've asked more than 1,400 football fans about their attiture towards multiple statements (multiple answers possible) realted to the selected conditions.

Not unexpectedly, 61% say their interest would be greater if the World Cup were held in another country, and as many as 56% would be more interested if the event were held in the summer. Interestingly, if Germany were the favorite, this would not lead to any change in attention among just over 60%.This is also shown by another survey result. Currently, just 9% of national soccer fans are in possession of the newly launched jersey of the national soccer team.
