The one where you find your voice
Hello,
In the week of International Women's Day?it seems somewhat apt to have a theme for this newsletter imploring YOU to start?finding your voice.?
It pains me that as an industry we only seem to hear the opinions and thoughts from the same old established voices. And to me, they're just not representative of the diverse communities we are as an?industry or the ones we serve in society at large. That's such a travesty and does our industry a disservice.
So last week I found my own voice and put myself forward by writing an article asking 'Is?the architecture profession imploding' for??@Building Desgin magazine.?I've had some really lovely feedback and conversations on the back of it. I was expecting more negative pushback but thankfully, as often is the way,?that was just in my own mind.
And finally, I recently delivered my first LinkedIn training?session, designed specifically for architects and engineers looking to up their visibility. It's all about using the platform to drive impact, make connections and meet your goals. DM me if you're looking to upskill you and/or your team?and want a friendly face to show you how.?
Have a fantastic March,?
Voicing my opinion
My recent?opinion piece for Building Design magazine.? How often do you pitch opinion pieces to magazines? What things do you think should be said but currently aren't.?Hit reply back to this email and do let me know.?
