The ONE Website you'll have to pay for, or You are DOOMED

Imagine a day without Facebook: Imagine a Day without seeing what others are doing; Imagine a Day when you have not gotten a like or Share on your content on Facebook? The good thing is, its still for FREE.

What if Facebook starts charging for your account? It may not last long as the public wave against it will be too big; but the big question is: Shall we be able to live without it?

Even if it means for the least of money (1 cent per day for example), how many countries will be able to pay online to have their Facebook accounts back? There's probably more than 10 million Facebook pages/ SME business that does business by promoting/interacting with their customers online. How many of them would be able to access their page? That's the level of dependency we have on Facebook.

How many of us have had a Facebook profile for more than 10 years? Quite a few i assume. But have we stored our life events, pictures, stories, status etc anywhere other than Facebook? Imagine the value of all those "life content" if we suddenly find it inaccessible because of lack of payment.

Bottom-line: while Facebook continues to become an inseparable part of our life and lifestyle, its important we balance and archive it to avoid over dependency. Or else there will be Hollywood movies of people taking their own lives because they can't access their Facebook account. Unthinkable? Lets see :)
