The #One way to improve your communication skills

The #One way to improve your communication skills

The #one way to improve your communications skills is to Improve your Listening skills

Effective communication makes you a more effective leader and employee and reduces unexpected effects caused by misinterpretation. You will be a better collaborator and team member if you develop an effective communication approach that allows you to grasp what others are saying. Improved communication leads to a better experience, which reduces stress and promotes physical and mental health. If the person you’re speaking with is peaceful, for example, listening attentively will help you relax as well.

Effective communication is critical for enhancing productivity since it has a direct impact on employee behavior and performance. As a result, it’s critical that you practice speaking with your employees. It will boost comprehension, resulting in increased production and efficiency.

Listening is a valuable ability to have in any situation, whether you’re assisting a loved one through a health crisis, dealing with co-workers, or maintaining family bonds.

However, most of us aren’t as good listeners as we’d like to believe. It’s a lot more gratifying for the person talking to you when we demonstrate we’re genuinely listening, and you’ll get more out of it as well.?

This is referred to as active listening, and it can help avoid misunderstandings and conflict.

I had issues with listening as I always thought I will forget what I want to say on each point made. It has been an amazing journey to learn the skill as I noticed that I remember better when I am just having a conversation with a person without thinking about what I want to say next. Thank you for a great article. ?? Terrill Christians - MBA

Good day to all and I hope.all is well wirh your souls. When my Heavenly Father was pleased fo reveal Himslf in me through His Son by way of His Spieit of truth I was one of those that instantly became a better listener because my heart, mind, mouth, and ears learned to listen and follow Him. If we are living only through our natural human nature we will never learn to be the kind of listener He desires us to be. In our natrual spiritual state we will always think about what we need to say before we hear what others are saying or needing to hear. We will always put ourselves first, or if we are putting others firit it is for vain reasons inorder to get something for ourselves. We are given 2 years to listen and if we love God avove all one is always listening to God by way of His Son through His Spirit of truth from within, and the other is listening to people. Those who love God abve all will always pour out of their mouths and eyes what He gives them to say and see. If anyone would like to know more about hearing God and earning how to listen His way, speak His eternal truth, and see what He sees I am not hard fo find. www.Love4loveministry.info

Brilliant, love the quote, love the article Terrill Christians - MBA! As a coach I have been working on my listening skills for years...the most interesting are higher order listening skills where you listen to what's not being said as well, and also what's transpiring in the broader context of the time and space of that moment..
