?? Today is the Grand Finale of the #SDGChallengeMiami2024 ??? We are thrilled to announce our incredible judges for this exciting finale: ???? Esther van Geloven – Senior Economic Policy Officer, Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Miami. She has been facilitating collaboration and knowledge exchange between the Netherlands and the south of the #UnitedStates for more than two decades with a special focus on #waterresilience and maritime. She loves working with companies, governments, non-profits and academic institutions on a frequent basis in order to create win-win situations. ?? Dave Doebler – Co-Founder, VolunteerCleanup.Org. Dave is a Clean Water Advocate and accidental researcher who stumbled on the marine debris issue while kayaking in Biscayne Bay. Since 2012, he has been working collaboratively with elected officials and staff around the county to reduce the input of debris and pollution into the bay. Dave currently sits on the Miami-Dade County Biscayne Bay Watershed Advisory Board, Vice Chair of the Miami Beach Marine and Waterfront Protection Authority and was a founding steering committee member of the Biscayne Bay Marine Health Coalition. ?? Fernanda Jorgensen, MPH – Founding Executive Director, PhilanthropyMiami. She focuses on increasing the ability of organizations and individuals to drive social change by curating and elevating experiences for education and networking that not only enhance professional growth but also foster a strong sense of community. Formerly serving as Director of Programs at the Health Foundation of South Florida, she directed the development, management, and evaluation of community investments to advance health equity, resulting in over $15M invested in the region.
