One Decision Away
Building business is not about watching the metrics, or the understanding the balance sheet or even interpreting the P&L. Building business is about building relationships and using your intellect in an intelligent and strategic manner. When we think of building a successful business the first thing we don’t usually do is pull out the profit & loss sheets, budget projections or even the sales figures. What we tend to do initially is resolve in our mind that we actually want to grow the business from wherever it is at right now into something more successful than it’s ever been.
To do this we must make changes and we need to re-engineer and realign our thinking so that it resonates in perfectly harmony with our expectations. In some cases if we actually looked into the metrics we may not ever begin growing our business because the task might seem too hard to get from where we are now to where we really want to be. What I am really saying here is that what we need to do before we can build anything is develop our mind and expand our visual cortex so that we can not only see new possibility but so we can also allow new possibility to enter into our thinking. Change will come when your thinking changes. If you don’t change your thinking then you cannot reasonably expect change to occur.
Our lives are built around habitual behaviour known as paradigms and its these paradigms that limit what we can and can’t do by keeping us running in auto pilot mode in a perpetual state of unconscious competence. At any moment you can choose to change your thoughts, to change your feelings to change your results.
Take a chance open your mind and be open to something new, look outside your comfort zone and embrace all that is on offer and as you do realise that ultimate success is just one decision away !
