Why wait having the great things in life, in your career or in your business?
Do you know That....?
Taking action on a desired goal within the first 90-120 min of your decision increases the probability of achieving this goal by 80%?
And...that when being asked: "How important is this to you?"...."On a scale from 0 to 10" that you need to be between 8 and 10 in level of importance? This support your process of reaching and achieving your goal.
The journey is the actual reward, not the goal itself....Did you know that? In other words how can you consciously live your values right now...not wait, postpone or drag out.... I talk about living now....follow your inner instincts, integrity, intuition and impulses that tell and remind you of what you prefer and bring you the experience of meaning and purpose...
Do what you love doing...dont look back, be in the moment now and actually seize the moment of your truth as to what make your heart sing.
So what is stopping you?
The systemic view of observing yourself when action is not taken of any reason. There can be many reasons for you not to change what is happening or not happening right now. The question is, does it serve you any good and does it serve people around you any good (family, colleagues, Peers and coworkers etc.)?
Consider writing a list of the main reasons for you to:
- Act on things or opportunities
- Hesitate or avoid taking action or act on things or opportunities
The external factors
- Physical barriers
- People around me (Friends, Family, Colleagues, Manager, Parents)
- The culture I live in
- Organisation and business setting or framework
- Lack of or no readiness, openness or responsiveness as to people, clients, customers, friends, network etc..
The inner factors or inner game
- Fear of failing
- Insecurity of being ready
- Hesistation as to external feedback, reaction or response
- Inner dialogue Is it Possible Am I worth It Am I able to do it
Is your procrastination worth it?
Because you still have a pulse... There is a saying that only 7% of the problems you think of are real, the rest is your brain playing with you or you could say your inner dialogue combined with your limiting beliefs that prevent you from taking action, so how would it be to clarify the 7% and start living now?
Can you imagine that as much as 93% of your so-called problems or limitations is something that do not exist?
Sometimes we need to say...."What the heck, lets get it done and over with...realising that what I made to a problem was not real...it was all up in my head... Great insight!
Remember to breath! It helps you think clearer and calm you pulse when the insecurity or doubt surfaces in your mind...
Make the "I want to change for the better of.... Bucket list"
- List all your problems, road blocks, frustrations, dilemmas, irritations and the issues that seem to paralyze you in taking action for change
- Make sure you get all the real problems down on paper, be honest to yourself and look them straight in their eyes......Time to finish them off....
- Categorize them so you list after importance, being critical for..., deadlines, risk analysis, impact on..., threat and so on. The no. 1 group will likely be your 7% of your real problems, challenges and risks you are facing right now
- When your list is categorized into groups, then prioritize the group itself and your bullet points from most important and highest positive impact to least important and lowest impact.
Prioritize for highest and most important impact - The 7% to resolve
- The most important group you have prioritized is now your 7%
- The list will tell you whether these 7% is a permanent thinking and mindset of yours or if it is in regard to specific things, situations, people or events.
- You will also bring yourself the insight of what will you do something about now because you realize it is actually not the seize of a hurdle that you have made it become in your head and also the consciousness of what you need to leave for now because you are simply not ready or the solution for this is not evident yet.
Consider your access to ressources
- Who within your closest range of trusted family, friends or colleagues would be great ressources and support to help you to take action and stand by you in the transition?
- What could be other kind of ressources to support you or enable you to experience that you are actually capable, if not at first then by reversing, training and learning?
- A post-it with your daily focus is a great ressource and reminder...train your mind and by training the "muscle" of which you doubt you will soon find out that you can do it or it is possible.
So.... a summary for doing things or making changes now:
- What do you want?
- What kind of purpose does it have or got to achieve this goal
- How will you define the meaning of what you get from achieving this or being able to this, not only once but repeatably?
- How important is this to you - on a scale from 0 to 10 (level of 8 to 10 increases the probability)
- Being this important and will bring meaning and purpose, when will you start?
- What will it bring to you? and how can you start living this value already now?
- Who or what will be your ressource and support to help and enable you taking action, making the change and enable you to achieve your goal?
God speed on your journey on doing it NOW!
