One Thing We All Need

Develop a clear and focused mindset, a quietly determined attitude, and an indomitable spirit, into a driving energy, a clear direction, and a resolute purpose.
Firstly, let me thank you for the many kind, warm notes of goodwill from the last email.
What struck a chord with most people was the idea of justified encouragement. Often, where there is a spark of interest, aptitude, or desire, it may take only a word of encouragement or approval to ignite that spark.
And God only knows what can come from that. But neither can we sit around hoping and waiting for encouragement or approval. That has to come from within. It's what we know as self-belief. And that’s where most of us sell ourselves short.
We suffer from limiting beliefs.
As soon as we get an idea that appeals to us, we tend to frame it in the sights of someone who would disapprove. We then elaborate on the fantasy and imagine all the terrible consequences that can come because of what we might attempt.
This isn’t new. Over 400 years ago, William Shakespeare stated? this very clearly when he said, “Our doubts are traitors, and make us lose the good we oft might gain, by fearing to attempt.”
Well said, Will. Many of you will have seen that before. It doesn’t change from generation to generation. I read recently in an article that one of the great advantages of being fundamentally fit is that it has a profound effect on our physiology; how we walk, sit, stand, run, and particularly, in how we breathe.
My own experience, and what I have seen thousands of others experience, would endorse this statement. The writer of that article is a specialist in corporate training and puts this aspect of learning above all else. Isn't that interesting? He puts it above all else. He reasons that whatever we attempt, in whatever area of our lives, we need to be physically mentally, and emotionally geared to it, to be aware of how we're using ourselves and what resources we can access.

Most certainly.
We are all aware of how the mind affects the body.? However, there is now a growing awareness of the reciprocal effect of the body on the mind.? Once understood, this awareness can be exploited for the good of anyone’s life.
It starts with the awareness and a decision.?
The next step is taking action. Once these basic requirements are done, the rest is following the pattern. Consistently.
Start there.
Every journey begins with the first step.
