  • If you commit to fixing something, fix it.

Nothing destroys trust faster than a leader who blames others or dodges responsibility.

When you mess up, say: ? "That was my call, and I got it wrong." ? "I see where I could have handled that better." ? "Let's fix this together."

Your team does not expect you to be perfect—they just need you to be real.
